Justin Bieber’s Grandparents Injured in Car Accident
Police in Ontario, Canada say the maternal grandparents of pop star Justin Bieber are doing well after surviving a serious car accident this week.
Bruce and Diane Dale drove into a ditch Tuesday afternoon after hitting a patch of slushy snow on a road near Stratford, Ontario, Biebers hometown, according to the “Never Say Never” hitmaker’s mother Pattie Mallette.
“My parents got into a car accident today. They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive! My dad has broken ribs. Plz pray 4 him 4 quick healing! Count your blessings & forgive ur parents always. U never know what tomorrow holds!!! (sic),” Pattie tweeted shortly after the crash.
According to Constable Kees Wijnands, an officer with the Ontario Police, the Dales vehicle rolled over and struck a small tree before landing back on its wheels.
Bruce was treated in the hospital and released a short time later. The couple is now recovering at home, the constable says.
Justin is very close to his grandparents, who helped raise him after Pattie became pregnant as a teenager.
