In response to rumor that Riri and Breezy secretly date again, a rep for the ‘Strip’ singer quickly releases a statement which insists his client doesn’t cheat on his girlfriend.A report suggesting that Rihanna and Chris Brown have been secretly seeing each other has been denied by Jeff Raymond, a representative for the “I Can Transform Ya” singer. In a statement to ABC News, he insisted that the relationship between the two artists is strictly platonic.
“He and Rihanna are just friends,” Jeff set the record straight on the rumor. The rep additionally squashed speculation that Breezy was seeing Riri behind his girlfriend’s back. “He is with his girlfriend, Karrueche [Tran], and is not cheating,” he clarified.
The rumor of Riri and Breezy’s secret romance was brought to attention when a source told Us Weekly that the “We Found Love” hitmaker and her former flame have “meet up very casually.” The source gushed further, “She comes to see him anytime she’s in L.A.”
Another insider from music industry testified to the publication, saying, “They can’t get enough of each other. I don’t see it ending well.” Meanwhile, a source close to Riri said, “Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that.”
Rihanna began dating Chris in 2008. In February the next year, they had a big fight that led to Breezy being charged with domestic violence. He was sentenced to 1 year of counseling, 6 months of community service, and a 5-year restraining order. In 2011, the order was dropped to Level One, allowing the duo to see each other again.
