Things are looking up for Bobby and Whitney’s baby girl: Tyler Perry’s camp has confirmed that Bobbi Kristina Brown (Krissy) — the daughter of late legendary songstress Whitney Houston and ’80s R&B bad boy Bobby Brown — has landed a recurring role on the upcoming season of For Better or For Worse, Perry’s latest TBS comedy/drama.

Krissy, 19, has been cast as the daughter of an Atlanta hairstylist on the popular series, according to Straight From the A, which first reported the news.

The up and coming actress has been spotted coming and going from Tyler Perrys Atlanta Studios for a few weeks now and my spies say that her play brother/boo Nick Gordon is always right by her side.

The celebutot spoke briefly about her showbiz aspirations in her record-breaking interview with Oprah Winfrey last month.

Im her daughter, I have to carry on her legacy. I have a voice. Im going to do some acting and dancing. Its a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it. She was preparing me for whats to come.

Perry — who earned an estimated $ 130 million in 2011 — is a dear friend to the Houston clan. When the filmmaker learned that Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel bathroom on the eve of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, he knew he needed to do something.

The Madea star, who was in the City of Angeles promoting the release of his upcoming film Good Deeds, offered up his private plane to the Houston family shortly after the “Saving All My Love” singer’s lifeless remains were discovered in a fourth floor suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Houstons body was transported to the East Coast via Perry’s plane.
