The “Transformers” beauty’s publicist has recently shut down an interview with ET’s correspondent Steve Jones after he asked the star some baby questions during a PR chat on Thursday night, May 3.
The former host of “The X Factor (US)” was interviewing the brunette beauty about her new job as the face of gadget store “The Sharper Image” when he suddenly switched the topic into a personal issue. He asked, “Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants?”, before stating, “A baby!”
Looking puzzled, the wife of Brian Austin Green asked back, “A baby?” She then added, “Oh, I know where you’re going with this.” At first the blue-eyed actress told Jones to go ahead with his question by quizzing him, “What do you want to know?” However, her representative quickly chimed in and told Jones to stop the whole Q&A session.
“You hear the grumbles… No, no,” Fox told Jones, referring to the unhappy grumbles coming from her publicist. The rep then rushed in and told the cameraman to wrap the interview, “Stop. Stop. Sorry, no.”
Eventually, Jones ended the chat by telling the actress, “Either way, Megan, it was a pleasure talking to you.” After the show, the host offered an apology to the sexy star as stating, “I’d like to formerly apologize to Ms. Fox for attacking her with the word ‘baby.’ Thankfully, there was a publicist there to stop me.”
Fox has yet to confirm her pregnancy report despite the fact that multiple insiders have revealed the good news to the media. Report that Fox is a mother-to-be was first brought into attention by Star magazine last March.
At that time, the tabloid claimed that the “Jonah Hex” actress “just found out” that she’s pregnant, while stating that she and Austin “are incredibly excited” though the pregnancy was unexpected. A source additionally revealed, “It’s still early, so they are only telling close friend and family members.”
