The ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ actress looked panic when she discovered a hole on her Lanvin couture night gown just before she hit the after-party of the annual prestigious fashion gala.Behind her stunning look as she stepped on the 2012 Met Ball Gala red carpet on Monday, May 7, Emma Stone actually had a fashion disaster that night. The “Easy A” actress suffered a major wardrobe malfunction as she accidentally ripped her gorgeous Lanvin couture dress before she showed up at the prestigious event’s after-party.
The Gwen Stacy of “The Amazing Spider-Man” was caught on camera looking very shocked after she discovered a hole on the back of her red frock. The blond beauty was joined by Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz, who looked panic when seeing the rip on his expensive creation.
To overcome the unexpected mishap, Emma decided to cover the tear just below the zip fastening with a patent maroon long coat. She then continued enjoying the after-party though her boyfriend Andrew Garfield was nowhere to be seen.
Before the gala, which took place at the the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Emma stole the spotlight with the daring red gown that she paired with satin black pumps from the Hiver 2011 Runway Collection and a large hair brooch. Before hitting the main venue, the 23-year-old actress was spotted fussing around with her frock while Rashida Jones and Leslie Mann tried to help her fix the dress.
