Ashley Benson Thinks She and Joe Jonas Could Make Cute Couple
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star says about the ex-boyfriend of Ashley Greene, ‘I could definitely see us being more than friends.’Ashley Benson recently spoke up about the reason why people once assumed that she dated Joe Jonas. The starlet who is famously known for playing Hanna Marin on “Pretty Little Liars” revealed that the rumor emerged after they exchanged a few of cute tweets.
“He tweeted me! We know each other just from hanging around,” she said in an interview for her cover story in Seventeen magazine’s September issue. “It’s so funny because once you tweet someone, everybody sees it. And they’re like, ‘Oh my God, is she going out with Joe Jonas?’ ”
“I got so many messages, and the next day it’s all over these gossip sites, ‘She’s going out with Joe Jonas!’ ” the 21-year-old actress gushed. However, she poured cold water on it, clarifying that they’re just friends. “I was like, ‘Oh no! I’m not going out with him!’ We’re just very friendly,” so the “Christmas Cupid” star said.
Still, the blond beauty confessed that she doesn’t rule out the idea of hooking up with the middle of the Jonas Brothers. “I think we could make a cute couple, definitely,” she said before adding, “I could definitely see us being more than friends.”
In the interview, Ashley also shared some of her flirting tips, revealing that she likes “to be really mean and sarcastic” when it deals with boys. She continued, “Boys like it when you’re mean. That’s what I’m best at. I make them feel so bad about themselves, all out of fun.”
On her own love life, the California-born star, who is currently in a relationship with Justin Bieber’s “swagger coach” Ryan Gold, confessed that her boyfriend “never had my heart broken. And I don’t want to have my heart broken.” She admitted, “I’m afraid of it. Even when I break someone else’s heart, I’m really upset about it. And I’m not even feeling half of what they are.”
