The ‘Vampire Diaries’ stars collect surfboard trophy for Choice Actor and Actress, while their hit series grabs an award for Choice Show for the Fantasy/Sci-Fi category in television.Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are among the winners at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. On Sunday, August 7, the on-screen pair, who are rumored to be dating in real life picked up the surfboard trophies for Choice TV Actor and Actress in Fantasy/Sci-Fi genre for their roles on The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries”.

Beside receiving the kudos, Ian and Nina were also on hand to present Choice Actor in a Romantic Comedy to Ashton Kutcher. In addition to their win, their hit series also successfully grabbed three more prizes. It was hailed as Choice TV Show Fantasy/Sci-Fi, and got Choice TV Male and Female Scene Stealer for Michael Trevino and Katerina Graham.

Also grabbing multiple awards in TV field was “Glee”. The FOX musical series helped their two actors, Cory Monteith and Darren Criss, to score Choice TV Actor Comedy and Choice TV Breakout Star respectively. Meanwhile, “Gossip Girl” and “Pretty Little Liars” nabbed at least three kudos each.

In movie field, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” dominated the winners list. It took home seven awards, including the coveted Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and kudos for a number of its cast members, such as Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton.

“Harry Potter” strongest contender, “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse”, trailed behind with not less than three awards. Taylor Lautner took home Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, knocking down his own co-star Robert Pattinson. Rob, meanwhile, won Choice Movie Actor: Drama category for his role in “Water for Elephants”.

In music field, Taylor Swift led the winners by collecting a total of five kudos. She also got the honor of grabbing Ultimate Choice Award. Other stars, who also scored multiple awards, included Selena Gomez, Paramore and Bruno Mars.

Hosted by Kaley Cuoco, this year’s Teen Choice Awards took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Among the presenters at the annual event were Joe Jonas, Kellan Lutz, Victoria Justice, Justin Bieber, Lucy Hale, Kim Kardashian and Nikki Reed.
