Bradley Cooper tells GQ “I didn’t want to win the Oscar”

Bradley Cooper took home nomination after nomination for his work on the critically acclaimed, Silver Linings Playbook but says that wrapping the awards season with no hardware, is just fine with him.
“I dont want to win an Oscar. It would change nothing. Nothing,” Cooper said in the April issue of British GQ. “The things in my life that arent fulfilled would not be fulfilled. Career-wise, right now, its better that I dont win one. I dont want to win. I dont.
Bradley said that his father dying in 2011 has changed his perspective on life. I watched him dying and I was there by his bed watching him, breathing with him, and then I saw his last breath and he was gone. I experienced the whole thing. And that was a watershed moment that I was privileged to experience. And it changed everything. Nothing has ever been the same since.
