Demi Lovato Gets Emotional While Recording ‘Skyscraper’
A co-writer for Demi’s new single reveals that the former ‘Sonny with a Chance’ star ‘absolutely killed it and [you] could hear her cry while she was recording it.’Demi Lovato had hard time coping with her emotion when recording her upcoming single “Skyscraper” earlier this year, revealed co-writer for the anticipated single Karli her Formspring account. The former “Sonny with a Chance” star, who will release it on July 14, reportedly was crying in the studio.
“I am so excited [for 'Skyscraper'] as well. No one has been able to hear it cause they’re keeping it behind locked doors but the couple people who have heard it say she [Demi] absolutely killed it and [you] could hear her cry while she was recording it,” Karli stated.
Indeed, the ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas previously shared that coming back to the studio is very therapeutic for her. “My first single is really special to me, to me it symbolizes my journey from the person I was to the healthy person I am today, and the fact that people are able to rise above anything, despite the odds,” she explained.
On Monday, July 4, Demi released cover art for the single. “Bummed that I couldn’t be the first person to show this BUT!!! ladies and gents…. My single artwork cover for my NEW SINGLE ‘SKYSCRAPER’!!” so she tweeted along with the image. She then challenged her fans to make “#skyscraper” as a trending topic, “Let’s trend #skyscraper for my new single release soon!!!!!”
