Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Exchanged Wedding Vows in Malibu
The ‘Twilight’ beauty and the ‘American Idol’ alum tied knot after only several months dating and engaged.Nikki Reed is officially married to Paul McDonald. The Rosalie Hale of the “Twilight Saga” series said her “I do” to the season 10 contestant of “American Idol” in front of 100 guests at a private ranch in Malibu, California on Sunday, October 16, her representative confirmed to Us Weekly.
Reed and McDonald themselves gushed that they “couldn’t be happier” about their nuptials. The newlyweds also shared that they were “surrounded by our family and friends” on the big day, adding further, “We’re so glad this day has come!”
E! Online reported that Alexa Vega served as the bride’s maid of honor. As for the reception, a source spilled that McDonald and his band, The Grand Magnolias, served guests with surprise performances. Among those in attendance for the wedding was Paul’s fellow “Idol” alum Stefano Langone.
Reed, 23, and McDonald, 27, first met at the red carpet premiere of “Red Riding Hood” in March. A few months later, the couple announced in June they have got engaged. In August, McDonald asserted to MTV News that he and his fiancee fit each other. “[W]hen you know, you know, and she’s the one,” he said.
